My goal in painting a scene, is to touch a viewer’s emotions, through the use of subject and color selections. Living in Tucson gives me an unlimited number of beautiful scenes to paint, desert landscapes, mountains, native foliage and architecture. My favorite place to paint, over the last 10 years, is the Tucson Barrio. I have seen many changes there and have recorded them in my painting, creating historical scenes. (artofjnelson.com)
