For almost 50 years, Irene Klar has been working as a full-time artist. She has studied and worked with artists from Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand. Art is the way that people can celebrate shared emotions through the use of color, pattern and composition.

For almost 50 years, Irene Klar has been working as a full-time artist creating works in watercolors, oils, and acrylics as well as original prints in intaglio (etching), linocut, serigraphy and lithography on stone. What always impresses her is the shared sense of design among people around the world. There are striking similarities evident between the tribal people from Africa to the American Southwest, Alaska and the Canadian North. She celebrates the people of the world in her painting and printmaking and is happy to share her work with you.
