Information for Artist Submissions

Overview

-Animal theme (any southwestern animal to include birds, reptiles or insects, etc.) Animals do need to be one of the main subjects, but not necessarily the only subjects. Original artwork only, in oil, acrylic, water media, pastel, scratchboard, or fused glass. Photography and mixed media collage are not accepted.

-All works must be available for sale and all works selected for the exhibition will be subject to a standard 50% Gallery sales commission in the event of a sale. The artist is responsible for either delivering and picking up the artwork in person, or all shipping costs including return shipping of all unsold work.

Submission Details

-No fee for submission

-Must include unframed and framed dimensions along with retail price

-Submit images of up to 6 southwest animal themed works to jyoti@tucsonDART.org

-All original artwork will be considered other than photography or collages that include photography 

-This show will be advertised in Tucson Lifestyle Magazine, our newsletter, our website, Facebook and Instagram. If you are selected, please help us reach a broader audience by promoting us on your professional social media.

Timeline

Submission Deadline- October 31, 2026

Notification of Acceptance- November 7, 2026

Delivery Deadline- November 21, 2026

Opening Artist Reception: January 10, 2027
