About

Experience hauntingly beautiful "desert atmospherics" created by Native American flute player Ira Black and keyboard/synthesizer artist and vocalist Lamont Arthur. Inspired by southwestern landscapes, Ira and Lamont also incorporate world beat percussion instruments into their music, including the African udu, hence the name Mondu Udu. Their unique compositional layering and ethereal improvisations transcend categorization and will transport you to uncharted territories of your imagination!
