Beginning Plein Air Painting in the Colorist Tradition

12 hours of instruction on "Beginning Plein Air Painting in the Colorist Tradition" with Denyse Fenelon, taught over 2 days. 

With the Museum’s outstanding collection of art available as a learning tool, our classes are designed to provide instruction in the fundamentals of art-making in a variety of mediums, while connecting the artist to the environment, history, and culture of the Desert Southwest. Whether you are an experienced artist or a novice, our instructors will personalize learning so that there is a place for everyone. Classes will be held in our beautiful studios, outdoors in the courtyards and parks adjacent to the museum, as well as in the museum itself, allowing the students to study and learn directly from master works.
